I waited most of this year for Olive Burger to open locally in Plano. This may not be the world’s best burger, but its good enough to quickly enter my lunch-time rotation.Its on a busy street-corner and could be easily forgotten, except they have now installed a big sign easily seen from the road. The insides are basic with some Texas memorabilia on the walls. But the seating is good, plentiful, and no crowded.You order at the counter (just like the original Richardson location). This seems to be staffed mainly by middle-eastern men who are friendly and quick to help you. They give you one of the vibrating plates that notifies you when you meal is ready.Olive burger has a reasonable variety of sodas and provides both Heinz ketchup and Jalapeno ketchup!I typically get either the jalapeno burger or olive burger. (With lots of green olives.) I’m also slowly trying out other non-burger items on the menu, like Turkish DONERCHICKEN Shavarma.They have some of the better burgers around. Their fries come out crispy and hot. (Yes some restaurant can give you food that’s still hot!)I can tell that I’ll be back here a lot.
