Princi is a small high end Italian joint. Like the previous reviewer as soon as we walked in we were asked if we had reservations. Maybe because I was dressed in my three piece suit. The place was empty. We did get seated. I ordered the Tuesday lunch special the Rigatoni Mezzi. When the brought out the meal I thought it was an appetizer. Such a small plate for $15. The sauce was fair but a little plain. The dish was mostly sauce and noodles, and the noodles we not quite done.

We went here on the Saturday before Memorial Day at about 6 PM. The restaurant had many open tables but we were told there were reservations so we could only be seated outside. The service was prompt. I ask the waitress what she liked from the menu and she pointed out several items but somehow it was unenthusiastic. Both my son and I selected the daily special. It was a large pounded breaded veal chop. It wasn’t bad. Then again it wasn’t good. It wasn’t really flavorful or notable in any way. It came with a small green salad that again was okay but nothing special. It did not fill us up so we both elected to get dessert which we rarely do. Our thought was Italian restaurants usually have really good Tiramisu and this being an upscale Italian restaurant it should have an outstanding one. It arrived and was really not Tiramisu. Tiramisu is ladyfingers this was chocolate cake with mascarpone and whipped cream. It tasted good but wasn’t truly Tiramisu. The bill came to about $77 before the tip. The best part of the experience was the service. Often when you are seated on the patio you are forgotten but our waitress did a great job.
