Great food and outstanding service. If you have not been you need to go now! Best Thai food around. Good sized meals too. Had the yellow chicken curry and was full. Our cups never got empty someone was always there at the right time to fill it up.
Great Decor and Good Thai Food. Samui is very well decorated. The artwork and bead strands greet you the minute you walk in the door. The tables and decor throughout the place is very well done. The service is pleasant, but a little robotic. I would have like a little more relaxed casual feel. The food was good. The Garden Chicken was wonderful and would recommend it over the Chilies and Cashews. Big thumbs up to this place.
Fantastic curry! Especially like their Panang Curry. Lots of fresh vegetables, plus Thai Basil. Don’t miss the Tom Kha Coconut soup!
Food is really good. Service blows. I did not get my water refilled the entire meal. The servers are having to roam the entire restaurant to servePatrons- you need moreServers. Their suggestion of their favorite (off) menu item was only good not great (chicken with shrimp basil). We got the following (ranked by how delicious plate was): 1. Shrimp wonton dish 2. Pad mee maw 3. Red curry chicken 4. Chicken and shrimp basilThe booth we sat in was like a furnace completely closed off from the a/c- it was way too hot In the restaurant. The booth was uncomfortable for 3 of us ( and we aren’t fat) with the backs bolt upright in a cramped space. I would go back strictly for the food if in the area only because of the above because it was $120 for 3 of us.
Over priced lousy food.. I brought my family to Samui Thai Cuisine after church today. I ordered the seafood fried rice with Scallops, Shrimp and Blue Crab (each meat $2 for a total of $6). When the waiter brought me my order, I was disappointed when they presented me with a dish of soggy rice with 2 small shrimp, 1 scallop no blue crab as I had ordered. I asked why there wasn’t blue crab on my order and he tried to convince me that it was camouflaged in the rice. I told him that Ive had blue crab before and it doesnt look like rice. The waiter took my plate and brought it back – 10 minutes later – with half a teaspoon of blue crab meat.So in the end, I had paid $10 for a small soggy plate of rice with an additional $6 for 2 small shrimp, 1 scallop and half a teaspoon of blue crab meat. From appetizer to main course, this restaurant serves overpriced, mediocre food. If you want good Thai food, Samui Thai Cuisine is not your restaurant.
Consistely Good. We eat at Samui/Legacy consistently. Food for us has always been good. Service is hit or miss, but we enjoy the food and atmosphere! Highly recommended.
We started with 2 appetizer platters, both very good. For dinner I had the Green Curry Lamb……loved it!
