I have a love/hate relationship with Seasons 52. I love the restaurant. I love the atmosphere. I love the service. In fact, I generally look forward to going to Seasons 52 for a nice meal out! But then I GET there and start trying to decide what to eat. This is the part I HATE! Why? Because I feel like I have to settle. The menu is full of fresh meals that, at least for me, aren’t appealing for the price quoted. So I pick something that sounds the least odd and quirky, and leave wishing I’d gone elsewhere. My advice: make sure you review the menu before you make your first journey here. You might not struggle as I do, but better to know that ahead of time.
This was our first time out at a nice restaurant since December, so we were looking forward to our visit to Seasons 52 in Plano since our experience at the other location was excellent.Om: In an attempt to shorten my reviews a bit, lets try thisReasons to go back The location is great, its located right in the Shops at Legacy and there is a lot of restaurants and nightlife in the area. A very nice ambiance, atmosphere similar to what you might see at an upscale steakhouse. All Seasons 52 locations provide nutritional facts, and being on a diet, its a PERFECT place to eat! We had reservations and were seated IMMEDIATELY, which some restaurants seem to struggle with. I had the leek potato soup, which had a nice creamy consistency and had really good taste, something I would order again in a heartbeat. The NY Strip was cooked to order (medium) and was more tender and flavorful than NY Strips Ive had at some of the best steakhouses! Love the desserts in the tiny glasses idea, my PB chocolate mousse was a sweet treat that was not overwhelming, not to mention they had a number of options that satisfy anyone that is craving something sweet. Liked the portion control. And of course, as long as I have my Nom, I would go anywhere with her!Reasons to think twice Parking can be a nightmare on the weekends because of the location. Yes, there is a parking ramp, but with the number of restaurants in the area its difficult to find an convenient space, so plan ahead. Service was ok, nothing that stood out. Even though the food is quality, $80+ dollars ($95+ w/tip) is a bit steep for what you get, a much better value if it was in the low $70 range.Nom, what are your thoughts???Nom: The location is great! For those who are inclined to make an evening of it, the perfect place to do a little shopping and then sit down for a beautiful meal! Lots and lots of things to choose from at the Shops of Legacy! If you elect to eat at Seasons 52 there are some serious upsides to your choice! Its deliciousbottom line! Wow so delicious! I had the braised short ribs with cheddar grits and heirloom carrots. There was not one single thing that wasnt as tasty in this portion and calorie control dish than ANY upscale steakhouse we visited last year during restaurant week. I had plenty of leftovers to take home for the next days lunch too. Like a LOT. My short ribs were fork tender and perfectly cooked. The carrots and grits were also perfectly cooked and seasoned so well I mean wow! I also had a small dessert! I had the pecan pie in a tiny glass with vanilla mousse. Its really the perfect size! You get the flavor of the pie in a few bites and the mellowness of the mousse without feeling like Violet Beauregarde. Deliciousness comes at a cost at 8pm on a Saturday nightthe nightmare that is parking! Id say do yourself a favor, but Im not sure what advice to give down in that area on a weekend. The cost per calorie is pretty high as wellButstillthe food is delicious and if you are watching your weight and want something really upscalethis might just be worth the cost!
Invited to a mid-week birthday dinner with a group of 10 people. Atmosphere busy but not too distracting. We had a private room off the main dining room. Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres were interesting and tasty. Dinner was just great. Try the mini-desserts in shot glasses. Very cool. Will swing by this joint again. Price was just about right for what I got. Service was stiff but attentive.
I loved every minute of my experience here. We came for my birthday and it was truly a joyous celebration of good food. The wait staff was incredible and the good to due for. Definitely worth the price tag. The mini desserts were a perfect denouement to a lovely evening.
One of the best dining experiences in my life. I took my wife and in-laws to Seasons52 for her birthday celebration, and can honestly say we had one of the most memorable, phenomenal dining experiences of my life. To begin with, the manager, Brian, went above and beyond in being accommodating for our table preferences, and checked on us multiple times throughout the night. Our waitress, Katie, was exceptional – truly, I cannot, in all of my travels and dinning experiences, remember a more attentive, charming, personable, and professional waitstaff as she. The food was outstanding, as always, and all five of our party raved about how delicious our meals were for the rest of the weekend. My deepest thanks to Seasons for making a special night even more spectacular. We will be patrons and advocates of this establishment for a long time to come.
Biggest waste of money EVER! Save your money and run! I cook better food than this place! The ingredients maybe fresh, but it’s so over priced!
Pork tenderloin is not recommended ! Too savory, not well balanced. Enjoyed the flatbread appetizer, though.
