Good Food Good Service. I’ve ate here 2-3 times and each visit the food has been good and the service has been good. One of my favorite oriental restaurants in Plano.

Language Barrier Prevented Us from Eating!. We placed a phone order after a TREMENDOUS struggle with the person who answered the phone. She was unfamiliar with the numbers assigned to the dishes and could not understand English well. Once we arrived at the restaurant to pick up the order, we waited in line for 40 minutes and were never helped. No one seemed to speak English. We were offered a menu to place our order (which we already had).After getting no where, and never being helped, we left the restaurant in pure frustration.These folks need someone on staff who understands and speaks English well. This was ridiculous!
Not Worth it. I heard from many friends that Lao Sichuan was a very trusted restaurant so I went yesterday. First of all, we had to wait in front of the restaurant alongside with two other couples for fifteen minutes because no one helped us out to a table, etc. The dishes we ordered were: spicy eggplant in chili sauce, hot and sour soup, dandan noodle, and….the orange chicken which was old. My family could not eat the orange chicken. We had to return it. The rest of the food was good though. But I know that I will not be coming back.
My new favorite Chinese resturant in town. We got the eggplant with garlic, twice cooked fish and Mongolian beef and all of the items were fantastic. Server was very helpful and quick service too. Highly recommend it
The Best. The best Authentic Chinese food in the area. The Fish Sichuanese is the greatest!!
All 6 dishes I’ve had here were great. The portions are big enough for 2 meals.
