Take Out Only – Good Food. Skillman Wok’s location is a little shocking. There is nothing that looks like a restaurant. The order area looks like an office with a desk and maps on the wall. It has zero decor. All of the food is prepared in back for delivery or take out only. We tried the Cashew Chicken and Kung Pao Chicken. The portions were huge for $8.95. We could have shared one dish between the two of us. Each order had a side of rice and a spring roll. I will order from here again.
Why?. I’ve been ordering here for years and used to love Skillman Wok, but within the past few months, Skillman Wok’s food has gone down hill. The sauce for my Szechuan beef that I always get started to become clumpy and gross tasting, the egg drop soup tasted like over-salted can chicken broth, and they’ve even messed up my delivery order on more than one occasion. With Plano’s high Asian popuation, I assume there are great chinese places around. I think I might begin an Anthony Bourdain-style hunt for the next best chinese take-out in Plano. I hope you guys get a make-over and I might come back.

I order from Skillman’s Wok at least 3 times a month. I have ordered many different dishes and have no complaints. I LOVE the Chicken Low Mein,, and the Happy Family is GREAT TOO!!! I always have my order at my door in less than 30 minutes!! Good Food Fast!!! Give it a try!!
LOVED IT. Definatly compares to PF Chang’s, but the prices are lower and they deliver!!!! Always a very short wait, and I have never had a single complaint. Tonight will be the 5th time to order from them. I will not order delivery from any other chinese restaurants.
