I think their chorizo taco is just bursting with flavor, maybe the best taco I’ve had in Plano, and probably in all of Dallas!- – – – – – -This location has had trouble holding a restaurant. Its gone from wings to local mexican and now this Tacos la Banqueta Puro DF. This restaurant came from a small start in Dallas that garnered a lot of acclaim. From what I saw it it was deserved.Its a simple but clean interior. You order at the counter so there isn’t a lot of service upon which to comment. But the food makes up for all of it.The tacos were stuffed full of meat (pastor and chorizo) along with onion and cilantro. It came with lime wedges and two sauces. I kept switching from one sauce to the other because I couldn’t tell which I liked the most. The pastor was very good and the chorizo amazing. The meats were flavorful and juicy and kept you wanting more. The sauces were bursting with flavor and not a small amount of heat.I can tell I will be coming back here a lot.
