Darn good Curried Chicken: the rice with peas (pigeon peas, not green giant stuff) and spinach for side were equally tasty Nd yummy.I did enjoy all the grocery product on the shelves: I’m tempted to pick up a bucket of cured boneless beef brisket but I’m not sure what to do with it.
Homemade Jamaican food. This is a tiny little place with seating for about 20 people. There is not much in the way of decor. When we were there everyone seemed to know each other. It had a homey feeling to it. We tried Jamaican Patties (think Empanada), fried Talapia, Roti Wrap and Fried Plantains. The beef Jamaican patty was spicy but good. The boneless curry chicken in the wrap was great. I really enjoyed my visit. The friendly atmosphere, island music and good food made it worth the trip. They have a tiny wall of groceries if you’re interested.
