I enjoy checking out the design of each location because it’s always different. The lighting in this one is making me want to take notes. Queso is devine. Cilantro is served heavy and in no way is that depressing. Enjoy the taste and simplicity of fuzzys a tad bit better though.

I went yesterday. The food is pretty good but they have insufficient seating and seem to be exceeding fire code limits for capacity. You order first and then find a table and they bring your food. Except there were no available tables and probably 20 of us had food delivered to us while we were standing. They made no effort to pack the food to go for us or anything. Just handed it to us with no place to sit. Meanwhile they kept taking orders and stacking people up. When you enter you can see it is crowded but they don’t tell you there is no available seating

Beautiful new location just south of Willowbend Mall along Dallas North Tollway. With only two ordering points, the line moves surprisingly fast, but you’ll wait a bit when it comes to finding an open seat (inside) and getting your food in a decent amount of time. After 25 minutes, we finally received our order; however, there were a few tacos missing. The runner was super apologetic, though, and made every effort to get them quickly (and made correctly!). Everything was fresh and hot, so no complaints there. No matter the location, I’m always impressed with the chips and guacamole. The salsa is on point, as well.Dos & Don’ts: carpool since the parking lot is relatively small (and shared with three or four other businesses) & don’t skip over the chips & guac when ordering! mybakingheart.com

Damn good tacos around town – Fried Avocado taco loaded with topping and a dash of diablo sauce is my go to item. Rest of the family likes the Brushfire(Jamaican Jerk Chicken with mango and cilantro) and chicken fajita. outsidesuburbia.com

Torchy Tacos are quickly becoming my top choice of tacos. They are fabulous. The taste explosion from each taco is what makes it stand above the crowd. They are also stuffed full of ingredients unlike trendy city taco joints. The Brushfire has Jamaican Jerk Chicken with grilled jalapenos, mango and cilantro. A soft line of sour cream is drizzled over the top and paired with their green verde Diablo hot sauce. The tastes blend beautifully together. The Crossroad is a crisped-smoked beef brisket with a slice of avocado and topped with grilled onions, jack cheese and cilantro. It too rocks the flavor chart. I have tried other tacos like the Republican, Democrat and Trailer Park and they are as good as the ones I tried today. This location is busy. Plan on a long line if you arrive at peak time. You can bypass the line and sit at the bar if there are open seats. I would have given this place five stars in my rating, but the wait is really long and the prices are a little high.

I LOVE THE DALLAS LOCATION!!. I am a huge fan of Torchy’s Tacos , so as you can imagine I was jumping for joy when one opened walking distance from my home. I can’t express how my excitment quickly turned to disappoinment and disgust. The environment was more of a teenage hangout spot which does’nt bother me, but the food carried the same custon of a teenager at work…sloppiness. I oredered what I always order, the shrimp taco and for the first time ever the ahi tuna. I recieved my order in about two minutes which was five times as fast as the Dallas location, and I sent them both right back. The shrimp was rubbery and cold and the tuna was as dry as sand paper (never tasted sand paper). The manager came to my table very apologetic and willing to make it right which I was very greatful for. After remaking my order, or so I though , three minutes later I recieved the second attempt and the first bite of my shrimp taco was edible. The manager stood and watched my first bite and asked, how is it? I replied , better thank you. Upon my second and third bite the tortilla literally fell to pieces in my hand. That’s called an old tortilla. I don’t know if my order was just thrown in the microwave or remade but it was as bad as the first. I usually don’t complain but this was unacceptable. I hate wasting food so I ate both of my tacos in disgust, left the restaurant and vowed never to return to this location. Let’s get it together PLANO!

Fresh ingredients you can taste. Breakfast tacos all day long. Great service. Cold beer – what else do you need.
