Very cool atmosphere- we sat at the bar and it was fun to watch the kitchen and the bar tenders work. I would rate the appetizers a 5 – the jalapeo cheddar biscuits and fire roasted veggies were nothing short of amazing. I also loved the Bloody Mary bar they had were you can garnish your own. Were my disappointment happened were in the sandwiches. I ordered the chicken pesto on sourdough. It was not bad….but very bland. My husband got the basic burger and it was also bland. The homemade chips were great. I was just surprised that the main dishes lacked the flavor we were anticipating.
Nice ambience and drinks but I feel the food is lacking on quality and has plenty quantity. Everything just feels too heavy and rich. The burger was way too overdone for medium rare. When you are focused on what’s on the burger rather than the meat you know you are off.
Lots of folks rave about this place but I am not one. I ordered a steak and it came smothered in a sweet sauce. It was cooked properly but the sauce just ruined a perfectly good steak
Food was good but not amazing. The whiskey cake needed Ice cream not just whipped cream. The three little pigs was the highlight of the meal. The bass was slightly under seasoned and needed some acid, the plating of the dish was just unexceptable, this place is way too classy to be presenting food like Texas roadhouse. The onion ring on the omg Burger was tough, cause they used the outer pedal too close to the skin. They know where the target is but can’t seem to hit the bullseye. I had high expectations but left disappointed.
Outdoor patio, fireplace, pouring rain. Warmed by the wine and one of the best Pork Belly Ramen dishes in the DFW area. Repeat, repeat, repeat.
Very interesting restaurant overall.Be warned … served in an industrial setting means what it says in spades. The only negative is that the restaurant is loud … actually LOUD. This restaurant will make casual conversation difficult because there isn’t anything in the space that does not reflect sound other than the people in the restaurant, who also happen to be generating much of the sound. The din coupled with the sound system makes the meal a bit of a solitary event even when you are dining with other folks. Now that that is out of the way, let’s talk grub! OMG, I loved my Cheese and Chicken sandwich and Bob’s burger was huge as evidenced by the photograph. Their menu is chock full of interesting bits to try and I’ll definitely be back to try many of them because scratch food is always good in my book.Stop in and enjoy, I know I’ll be back.
The food was delicious & they made it so easy to alter the items I wanted to ensure they were all vegan friendly. Loved their tangy lemonade too! Totally wanna go back soon!! itsmyevolution.wix.com
