Great Concept & Good Farm to Table Food. Wholesome Grub sits at the corner of Park & Ohio in West Plano. Three brothers wanted a fast food restaurant that uses farm fresh ingredients for reasonable healthy options. They serve breakfast and lunch/dinner. All of their menu options have the calorie count posted on the main menu. Sides are healthy options like fruit cups, farro, and yogurt. My wife tried the black bean burger with sweet potato fries. I had the bison burger and farro cup. Both of our meals were under 700 calories. The prices are higher for fast food, but you are getting better quality and healthier options. The decor is a simple design with green accents. There is a patio out front for nicer weather. The servers taking your order are great. The manager/owner was very thorough. I really like this place for a healthier fast food option.
