Nice hole in wall, you’d miss it if you were just casually driving by but this place is good. The name isn’t lying, it really is a fully functioning butcher shop where you can get all you favorites cut to size and wrapped up ready to go. While your there though try out their food. It’s american classics like hamburgers, buffalo burgers, smoked sausage sandwich, tater tots and french fries done right. It’s priced right and occasionally offers some off the beaten track options like alligator tail. I’m reluctant to give such a good rating because I don’t want it to become too popular and ruin the local feel to it but it deserves the crowds in all honesty.Kudos Ye Olde Butcher Shop
I Love This Place. This hole in the wall is top of the heap. The butcher shop name is true to the decor. You will see butcher lockers, hooks, scales and mounted heads. They even have a spoof vegan head on the wall with salad menu in the hand of the vegan. The people serving and cooking here are simply fantastic. They are so pleasant and down to earth. Each order is yelled out with a sing song and lucky number (fill in your number).I truly enjoyed my lunch. I sat at the counter and took in the atmosphere. They have several items on the menu, but regular, buffalo and daily special burger are the main attraction. At 11:30 the place was packed with a line back to the door. Clearly this is a popular place.
Buy meat to take home (really is a butchers shop) it grab a burger or other meat burger.If you want meat for the freezer they have bundled specials from $63 to $160.My buffalo burger was good, but I would not drive all the way here for one (I was nearby and driving right past it is why I stopped). Good flavor, bun is generic but at least they grill it to enhance it.They only make it when you order it, so plan on cooling your heels: I was #36 and #15 was called to pick up. Ugh!
