I won’t go back. A local recommended Papa’s and we expected good food and service, but that wasn’t our experience. They weren’t busy and the service was still poor. The senora in charge acted like she could care less. Barked at me when I ordered a beer, like I should know they don’t sell beer. Wife’s tamales were maybe the worst I’ve tasted. Dried out like they had been sitting for hours. I had a Mexican platter that was average at best. On South Padre for a month, but won’t go back.
