Went there looking for authentic Mexican food since we’re so close to the border. Namely, tacos de asada. Not only did they not have the tacos, I’ve had way better Mexican food in Arkansas! And to top it all off they tried to overcharge us by 10$. I guess tourist look stupid too. Bad experience, too much money.

Nothing special. I’ve had authentic Mexican food over the border so I was expecting more from this place. It is a hole in the wall which isn’t bad if you come through with great food. However the food was mediocre. The bean soup was pretty tasty however our meals were pretty bland. The meals were big but lacked sophistication.

Delightful. Authentic Mexico city seafood and other dishes. I had the seafood soup that had large amounts of shrimp, fish and squid. The kids chose Mexican plates of fajitas, flautas and chalupas. All came with Mexican white cheese on top that my kids had never seen before and I was happy to see them try new things. The salsa was homemade, warm and excellent. All of the meals came with a small bowl of homemade beans that had chunks of chorizo to flavor the broth. Our family of five, including 3 teens, ate for $42.00. Highly recommend this charming restaurant.

Yum. First i wanna say, it’s hard finding a decent fish place in port isabel/spi, especially one that is within my budget. this place is very simple in decor and seemed a bit understaffed. that being said, i had the all you can eat fish special(5.95). the fish comes with seasoned fries and a small portion of coleslaw. all of it was delicious, i wish i could have eaten more but i was stuffed after the first plate. >_< the other menu items ranged in price since they served breakfast and other seafood items. i would definitely go back for the all you can eat fish special.

Two years later, still good…. I last went to Los Cabos nearly three years ago, during which time I had a great experience. Being a local I like to try the restaurants that open up and old standards whenever I get a chance to head to the coast. On a whim of feeling ripped off by overly priced places, or others that offer small portions, I suggested to some friends we should try this place. I had the shrimp and stuffed crab plate, another has fish and shrimp, lastly another friend had the all you can eat fired fish ($5.95). Nothing but content faces table round.Prices were still great, food was better. Service seemed a little slow, least at first, but once they took our order everything went by smoothly. And to the establishments defense they did seem a little understaffed that afternoon. What else can I say, looking for some good seafood at a very reasonable price, try this spot. Los Cabos may not be the most elegant place, the most talked about, and I cant say it is embelished in a pirate/nautical theme, but it delivers. And what they offer as far as seafood is well done and surpassed my expectation, especially considering the price.
