Half and Half. I’m going to go ahead and like this place, but it was a hard call. The service was great, the kitchen is slow. The tortilla chips were stale and the hot sauce (NOT salsa!) was thin, but it was flavorful. The refried beans were off the hook and the rice was perfect, but the homemade tortillas were hard as a rock. The enchiladas were terrible, but the flank steak and the bistek ranchero was great. The guacamole was just a mushed up avocado, but I LOVE avocados, so no biggie to me. I want to go back and try some more stuff, I just know I’ll have to order a combo plate so something will be good to make up for the something that will be bad.
