This is my go-to place when my friends and I are craving some Boba. The atmosphere is nice and drinks can be customed to how you like them.
I have to say, the drinks are pretty amazing. I wish the taste of the drink I usually get was constant. One day it’s perfect and the next it’s too sweet or bitter. The service isn’t the best but it’s not so bad to complain. Other than that, the drinks are pretty good for an okay price.
Great Drinks – Bad service. Now don’t get me wrong this place has some amazing drinks…BUT the past 3 times I have gone here the service has been horrible. I don’t know if they have new kids working here but they’ve got my order wrong over 2 times. One cashier was on his phone the whole time until he realized there were people waiting in line.
Service and drink quality lacking. Boba Latte has just lost a long time customer. The problem started when I had to wait nearly 15 minutes to order and receive my drink (honey green tea). It’s simple and should take less then 30 seconds to make. Why did it take this long? Well, there were 14 people waiting for their drinks too. But that wasn’t the root cause. The drink mixers were trying to make everyone’s drink at once. I guess it’s a natural human tendency to think time is saved by pouring several drinks at once but it’s not always the case. In fact, it’s prone to error and pissed off customers. NM the fact that my drink turned out way overly sweet or that there was no apology for the super slow service. So, I called and left the owner (Julie Dai) a message for her to call me back. She never did. I wanted to give her suggestions for improvement and explain some basic lean concepts for her employees to learn. But because Julie Dai never called back, I’m going to have to rate this place a 1 star and never come back.
