This place is supposed to have the best Indo-Chinese Food in town. And considering that It’s my staple back at home, I had to give it a try.Note : The Quantities are large!A Manchow Soup was a watery in consistency – But otherwise, it tasted good.The springroll was bland. I’d rather skip that one.I loved the Chicken 65. That’s one dish you should head here for.The Shrimp Salt and Pepper along with Fried Rice makes a decent meal.Bottomline : They have a lot more to offer. And maybe I did not try their best items. However, I’d give it to them for the Shrimps.
Excellent Food and Friendly Customer Service. I will recommend this restaurant for all food lovers. Shrimp pepper Salt and Drums of Heaven are my favs at this place.
To simplify this review, all I would say is, this place is the like the Chinese food joint in Mumbai. Mediocre but serves great Chinese food, but you will like it only if you are used to eating indochinese food, specially if you are from Bombay or Delhi. I had their new Chinese bhel, and trust me one bite took me back to the roadside stall back in Mumbai where they mixup that crisp, tangy and spicy Chinese bhel. It was amazing.
Great Place & Great Food. Bombay Chopstix brings together Eastern India cuisine with traditional Chinese food. The initial feel of the place is warm and appealing. They have done a great job with artwork and wall decorations. You place your order, get a number, and take a seat. They will bring the food out to you, or least they did for me.Today the food hit a home run with me. I was looking for something spicy. The pepper chicken used just about every pepper I can remember: Red, black, bell, and chili. It was awesome. It made my nose run. The chicken, peppers and onion were in a liquid base. I dumped most of my brown rice and savored every bite. Yum! That hit home with me.
No Groupon Here. We bought a Groupon . Went in and ordered about 15.00 more than our Groupon amt. They ended up double taxing us. They subtracted out the tax of our total bill (Groupon amt. plus our extra 15.00) from our Groupon amt. Then we pd. our extra 15.00 of food we had ordered plus tax for that $15.00. So, we tried to explain it to them, but they said that it was the way they do it. And it was what their manger told them to do. They would not rectify their mistake of double taxing. Food was nothing exciting.
Went in for the first time and it took 50 minutes to get our food. The place was about half empty. There is no reason why it should take this long.
I was a little hesitant when I saw that the reviews were just 3 stars. But as I read some of the more recent reviews, I saw 4 stars so decided to give this place a try and I am glad that I did. Service was fast & friendly & the food was pretty good. A little pricy though. I had Combination Fried Rice & some Won Ton Soup & paid over $16!
