Extremely bad service . We went there for dinner and got the worst treatment ever . The waitress didn’t even come to check our table . We waited a hour for our food to come through , not to mention it took 35 minutes to actuallly take our order! Finally when we got our food the waiter basically flung it on the table and left . We had not one person check on us , also we had a shrimp dish and the shrimp came out all mushy and falling apart. It was utterly disgusting .
One of my favorite Chinese restaurants in DFW. The typical default order:AC4 – Spicy Salt Squid (you can substitute Shrimp) – crunchy and delicious. Large sized shrimpAC39 – Beef Cantonese style – large chunks of succulent beef and vegetablesAC43 – Sour Cabbage Beef – I substituted squid and it was delicious. This is my favorite dish. The cabbage is not that sour and not too sweet. Just perfect. It doesn’t include cabbage (the way we would think of cabbage) but a mixture of bok choy and greensFR10 – Beef Hot PotAC49 – Basket seafood/bird next)VB snow pea leaves (these are seasonal and a winter dish)Soup #13I asked for Ong Choy which in English is water spinach. And there you have it my choices. Family style is always great for single parents dallassinglemom.com
Orange Chicken!. I work a few blocks away from Canton and have eaten there on a fairly regular basis for years. They have an extensive menu which ranges from classic favorites to more exotic Chinese dishes. My absolute favorite item (as well as for many of my coworkers) is their Orange Chicken. You have to try it! It’s the best I’ve had anywhere, ever, and I have been to dozens of Chinese restaurants in the metroplex. I’d also highly recommend going during lunch hours. They have a lunch menu reasonably priced for the quantity of food you get.
I’ve been in Texas for 3 years, and this is the best Chinese I’ve had here. I really haven’t tried a whole lot of places though. Great service, good lunch prices. The smoked pork fried rice is made just how I like it. Everything I’ve tried was really good. A few favorites are general tsos chicken, fried pork chops, beef with broccoli. Sometimes I’ll just get a bowl of the won tun soup.
It was ok, I’ll have to try it again. Great prices, great service, good food. The sweet & sour sauce is not the typical chinese restaurant version but it was pretty good. I would like to try other dishes. The food was hot and fresh with very large shrimp. The egg rolls are ok and the wonton soup was a little peppery. I plan to return and maybe try the hot & sour or egg drop soup with a different dish.
Wonderful selection, food, and service. I ate too much!
Fantastic lunch fare Cheap!. I frequent many chinese food buffets and restaurants, but i have never had better food than Cantons for the amount they charge ,buffet or restaurant! try the hunan shrimp 10 out of 10!
