I thoroughly enjoyed myself here. It is very easy to miss this restaurant. It’s not really visible from the road with the trees and other businesses nearby. Inside is a nicely decorated Italian restaurant with white table cloths, stone bricks and copper accented short walls. My immediate impression was positive. I was quickly greeted at the door by either the manager or owner with a thick Italian accent. He and the other server spoke in Italian when it was between the two of them.I think what I like most about this restaurant is the personalized caring service. I was asked to make this my home. Please come visit anytime even if it’s just a glass of wine and talking at the bar. When I asked questions about the food options and composition, I was given very good answers that came from a place of caring.Soon after you are seated they wheel out a white cloth cart with the two daily specials prepared. You get to visually see the real dish as he explains how it is made. The presentation is wonderful. It sits on a cloth napkin origami art form. I tried the Portobello Mushroom appetizer. It came in a garlic, white wine and olive oil sauce which was fantastic. The Chicken Picatta was tenderized nicely with capers. The spaghetti on the plate was just okay. The rosemary bread with freshly pureed tomatoes and olive oil was really good. When it came time for dessert they wheeled out another white cloth cart with all the yummy options. I picked Tiramisu. The finger cake at the bottom was soaked in coffee. It was really good and paired nicely with my cup of Cappuccino. Great place!

I came Friday night with a large group of people, the service was adequate and not only that a 25% gratuity was added to each of our bills. Our organizer was never told the 25% would be added to the gratuity prior to having dinner there. While we had a set menu, once finished at our table another table thirty minutes later had still not been served.

The Olive Garden was much better.. We had total of four diners eating pasta. The pasta had a taste of being cooked with Brussels sprouts or something and was under cooked. We had to ask for more sauce for our plates because the noodles had absorbed most of it. The salads were properly portioned but lacked dressing and the pepper grinder lacked peppercorns. This was only lunch and it was $60 plus tip with four tea costing $9 alone. This is not competitive to other restaurants in that area.15 Aug, 2012The Olive Garden was much.better all around.. Delightful Dinner Experience!. My meetup.com group, Urban Mosaic Groove, had dinner at Cappuccino tonight and we had a great time. The food was delicious –out of 17 people not one person had anything but praise for their meal– and the service was exemplary!I was eating light having the bruschetta for my entree, so I could save room for dessert, of course. I was not disappointed! The strawberry shortcake was fresh with berries and moist, yumm! I will definitely put Cappuccino on my return list!

Steak Diane. I have eaten here twice in the past 20 years. I live out of state. The manager, Frank, I think his name was, prepared the dish at my table side. I had never seen this dish on any other menu. I had only prepared it at home. I am making another trip to Dallas this month and you can be sure I will dine here!

This place is very conveniently located close to UTD campus, and despite the relatively fancy interior they expect, and treat very well, all underdressed college students. The food is TOP NOTCH, the service is even better- you will never want for anything here. I have and will continue to recommend this place to everyone. Can’t complain about a single thing.
