So far I have dined twice at Casa Cha Cha and I love it. Great food and great service.
Did not care for this place. Service is quite slow at lunch hour and the food is mediocre at best. When I get a cheese enchilada, I want it to have some cheese in it. Mine had a sprinkling of cheese- it was mostly their not-so-great gravy. I won’t go back…
The food here was very bad. It tasted like everything came from the freezer. The queso was Velveeta with rotel. It was so thick the chips broke when dipping. We will never visit the place again.
Rough Tex Mex. I am not sure what rough Tex Mex is but Casa Cha Cha has excellent food. I enjoyed the enchilada trio. The food arrived quickly and hot. The food was well seasoned and everything tasted fresh. The salsa was also really good. The evening was nice and I noticed there were several people enjoying dinner on the large patio. I will definitely be back to try the tortilla soup and the chile rellenos!
High hopes for this place took a dramatic turn once we actually visited. Slow, confusing service along with less than average mexican food puts this place on our ‘No Return’ list. 1st waiter took our drink order never to return. After the 4th person took our drink order (iced tea and a horribly average rita…really) they arrived. Refried beans tasted out of the can and the bean soup was over salted to the point it could not be eaten. The special with Shrimp smelled fishy and tasted worse. No one ever came by to check on us or how our experience went and even though many of the management knew things we’re not right, this is the worst experience we’ve had in a restaurant in Texas.
Great place to eat. The service was excellent and very fast. They never let my iced tea go dry. Very clean kitchen. We will be back.
