Quick and consistent tex-mex. It is pretty good, but nothing off the charts. The service is excellent as far as refills and keeping chips and salsa stocked go.
Courteous, attentive staff took exceptional care of us! The food was wonderful (try the Chil con Queso!), and a good value for the money. We will DEFINITELY be back!
Terrific Tex-Mex Teases Tongue!. I love Mexican food, and have eaten it all over town, other towns, other states, practically the entire planet. Casa Milagro is one of the better places to get your fill of Tex-Mex style deliciousness at a reasonable price! But, lets jump to something that is actually important – FABULOUS SERVICE! It was a Tuesday night, so the place was not packed, but it wasn’t empty, either. Just right. There was a private buffet party in one room. It could have been really lousy service. Instead, I was greeted at the front door by a clean quiet restaurant, a pleasant hostess, a comfortable seat, and a great view into the open kitchen. As soon as the menu hit the table Ishmael was there to take my order. A cold cerveza and some ice water magically appeared. Chips and really tasty salsa materialized on the table. I ordered the chile relleno stuffed with brisket, and both the oversized pepper and smoky brisket were delicious. Instead of gross crunchy fried batter that makes the relleno sort of like a big weird cigar, or the overly light egg batter that soaks up so much grease, Casa Milagro makes their relleno just like my mother’s housekeeper made them decades ago before Mexican was so popular and over examined – no batter, just fried and served with a delicious red sauce with mushrooms. Oh, my, so good! A large puddle of refried beans and juicy spiced rice made up the plate. On another table I saw some super looking chalupas, semi-chunky guacamole, and did I mention the chips? Very light, very crispy, a great match for the salsa! But, best of all, the restaurant was classy, quiet, and comforting, but in a modern, fun way. Join great service, good prices, tasty food, and yummy adult beverages served at the right temperature, and you have what I feel is one of the best Mexican food experiences in DFW! You should stop by and enjoy it, too!
My new fave in DFW. I love Chile rellenos-especially non-battered, non-fried ones which Casa Milagro does well. I believe they are roasted. I ate there last week and I was served fast at late weekday lunch.
Delicious Food, Friendly Service, Lively Atmosphere. Service here is always impeccable. The staff is always smiling, happy, and knowledgeable about the menu. I love the drinks here, especially when they are made by the awesome bartender, Ramon. I can never resist a mango margarita, but the pina colada and the spicy margarita are also good choices. Don’t miss the live band!!
Great Place to Dine. Always great service and amazing food. I highly recommend it.www.sorayaivettephotography.com
Started out very hopeful after reading reviews, but one of the worst Mexican food meals I have been served. The Chile Relleno came highly recommended, but it was not charred, tough, poorly battered, and merely placed over a lump of cold brisket. Rice was dry, beans terrible, and the other seven members of my party offered similar reviews. So many other good Mexican meals to be had in the area… Don’t waste your time or money.
