Fail #1–ordered Chicken Fried rice …spicy with $2 extra chicken… received what looked like chicken but had obviously had been cooked with Shrimp… ok if you like shrimp but HORRIBLE if ..like me… Do NOT like fish…Fail#2– take the food back with a little missing because I tossed the portion from my plate in the trash. so the 14yo girl left in charge of the place gives me a shitty attitude , refuses to refund my money or replace my original order.. Don’t know if this place is under new ownership or just new management but they SUCK. very sad because I live around the corner and ordered weekly before a year sabbatical in Lubbock..just back and apparently I will be finding a new place… if I could give ZERO stars that would be too many just because of the two teens left in charge..
I am surprised by the high 3-star rating. The General Tso’s chicken wasn’t very good, the veggies were overlooked, and the chicken fried rice was overly dry and not very tasty. Not impressed.
We tried Egg Roll Cafe for the first time today, using delivery. The food came in less time than they quoted, the price was really inexpensive and the food portions (lunch serving) was huge! We have plenty leftover for at least 1 more meal. The food was great. I’m very picky about Chinese food and this was way beyond expectations. We ordered Szechuan chicken and beef chow mein, both with fried rice…and then the Pu Pu Platter. Very very good. Our new favorite Chinese place.
Not that great.. I have tried the two times and the food isn’t all that. The beef was super over cooked to the point it was hard and and the sesame chicken was so mushy…
Been to this place so many times! If you’ve never been there, the food is great. I personally enjoy the Garlic Chicken, as well as the Broccoli Beef. The Orange and Sesame Chicken is awesome as well! If you don’t want an entree, their Hot and Sour soup is delicious! They also have free wifi, which is a plus. If you are looking for cheap, really good Chinese food, this place is for you!
I didn’t get a chance to try them, because they tried to charge me 1.50$ to substitute a sauce for a sauce. I realize 1.50$ isn’t much, but for me it’s principal — clearly they are greedy as red sauce and dark sauce can’t have that much difference in cost. If I were you, I’d spend my money elsewhere.
Our favorite Chinese restaurant! Great tasting, huge portions and cheap prices! Even better is that they deliver!
