I suppose it’s ok for cheap Indian buffet, but the entrees are heavy on sauce and light on actual ingredients. Very light on any meat entrees. I don’t mind vegetarian but I just felt like it was a plate full of rice and sauce and not enough substance. The only Indian buffet I wouldn’t return to.
LIFETIME MISTAKE..!!. NEVER VISIT AGAIN. RECOMMEND ALL MY FRIENDS TO CONSCIOUSLY AVOID THIS PLACE EVEN YOU ARE DAMN HUNGRY.Worst ever Indian Restaurant, I visited in Dallas.I’m used to try different Indian restaurants every weekend and visited this place with lots of expectations (in the tongue). GOOD STUFF first,Plates & dishes were clean. Waiter was responsive.BAD STUFFs now (sorry for too many points, but that’s my real bitter experience)I understand it is a family owned place, but still they don’t even meet basic restaurant qualities. When entered, Owner was not so welcoming, instead he wanted us to close the door quickly, real quick, as like we wanted to jump to the table directly from the road.Next, is the Dirty, really dirty tables & restrooms..!!Menu was far too expensive for the dish quality & the quantity.TANDOORI CHICKEN – They said as sizzlers, but it was too much fried that no chicken piece is soft and everything is blackened. Real Indian Tandoori lover will throw back this chicken on Chef who cooked it.Chicken pieces in SHAJAHANI BIRIYANI had real stingy smell and chewy. Smell like very old & not even frozen properly.LAMB ROGAN JOSH – Gravy was not hot all and they added water to it, to increase the quantity. I could really see water floating on top of gravy. Lamb pieces were okay.My family is totally annoyed seeing the check with gratuity of 15% for only 5 people.Owner is not even good enough to explain the reason and really interested in grabbing the cash from us.Overall : Too expensive for not-worthy food. Not a good place for real Indian food lovers. NEVER VISIT AGAIN. RECOMMEND ALL MY FRIENDS TO CONSCIOUSLY AVOID THIS PLACE EVEN YOU ARE DAMN HUNGRY.

This was one of the worst places I have ate, there are so many good Indian foods in Dallas but this rating fooled me, we will never go back.
Still The Best. I have been eating here since this place opened in 80s. They are consistent in food quality. I never had a bad meal here. Now after so many years it is our second home, as my entire family with grand kids come to enjoy the food.Keep up the good work
Sorry excuse for Indian Food. When you walk into a restaurant and its empty during a Saturday or Sunday lunch, its a sure sign that somethings off. I chickened out one other time because of the same reason but gave it a shot the other day. Food had been out for hours, the top layer of the biryani was crispy from being out so long. Everything was salty, lamb vondaloo, tikka masala, kofta…..total disaster for 9.95. Please spare yourself and go somewhere like royal sweets, mayuri or even mumtaz. Mumtaz is not my favorite but atleast you can call it indian. One other couple came in when we were there. Horrible food, one waiter that disappears. I know where not to go back again, ever!!
