I always enjoy going to La Madeleine. The heavy wood chalet look coupled with the French influence is nice. The food is consistent and well prepared. My favorite dish is the Yogurt Parfait. It’s so fresh and satisfying. While I go out of my way to find La Madeleine’s, this is not one of my favorite. Service here is not up to par with other locations. The order taking process was disjointed and long. They ran out of yogurt and bread at the peak of Sunday lunch crowd. Our crepe took too long. We finished our meal and then it came out.
I love La Madeleine this is the place we we went more than twice during our time in dallas. A great dish with an affordable price. Love the mushroom cream soup and the shrimps are amazing!

What happened to La Madeleine?. We stopped going here about 3 years ago when La Madeleine started going down the tubes. Maybe it was a change in ownership but this company has lost its original charm. The quality isn’t there anymore, either. They cut out some popular desserts and their Napoleons are obviously thawed from frozen. Once we started seeing tacky fake flowers on the tables, it was all downhill from there. Sad, too, because we used to go here twice a week at least.
Good Dining, And Studying. Being close to UTDallas, I’ve found this a good alternative to studying in a coffee shop. The food is always good, the service has always been nice and generous, the restaurant is clean, and the atmosphere is nice yet quiet enough to get work done. When there’s nice weather out, the patio is quite beautiful as well.
