Decent lunch, a little slow. A group of seven of us had lunch here yesterday. The place was pretty full, we had to wait about 10 min for a table. We got a couple bowls of queso with spicy ground beef to start- great stuff. I got mixed chicken and steak fajitas. The fajitas were pretty dry, but were tender and had decent flavor. The service was pretty good in spite of how crowded it was, but it took longer than we expected to get our food. The iced tea was kept full.We had one slight glitch. The restaurant extorts a 20% tip for parties of eight or more, but they added it to our checks even though we had seven. We needed to get back to work so we didn’t try to get it removed. billhensley.wordpress.com
Really dissapointed. I have gone to MiCocina several times…..really liked it, but will never go AGAIN! my lunch was 11.00, with tip I signed my reciept for 14.00…..today, I notice that they gave themselves an additional tip, and re – ran the charge for 18.08. I understand that there can be mistakes, however, this happened the passed 3 times I have gone. I’ve ignored it until now. I contacted the restaurant and the corp. office. I consider this STEALING!!! Funny thing is, it also has happened to a co-worker….numerous times, and they gave her the same excuse as they just gave me! RIDICULOUS!!!!!
Great food
My favorite Mico. This location is by far my favorite. The staff and the management go out of their way to provide friendly service. The drinks are excellent and the food is always great. If you’re not happy with something, let them know and they will bend over backwards to make it right. The Verde Chicken Enchiladas are the bomb!
The food here is just plain bad. So is the very long wait before you get your bad food. It’s been disappointing – and I’ll never be back. You’re better off finding a Posados, or anywhere else, really.
Nope!. The lard really killed the flavor here. If you can’t tell the difference between Mexican food made with or without the shiny white stuff, then start here because this is what it tastes like. The food did not agree with my stomach, and I am Hispanic!!!!!!
Best service of any Mi Cocina. Friendly neighborhhod place with great patio. Don’t miss Mama’s Tacos and a margarita.
