Excellent quality of coffee (try the signature Pearl Blend that combines Indonesian, African, Latin American beans) cozy ambience, kid-friendly, great to sit in for hours! The Mexican Hot Chocolate is also bomb! deboramanusama.com
Good coffee. Industrial vibe. Weird layout. I don’t think I could ever study here. For starters, the place is usually packed, so don’t expect a table. There really aren’t many tables inside, though there is a nice covered patio. The chairs are hard and the place generally makes me feel uncomfortable. The pearl latte is very sweet, but still good. Prices are a bit on the higher side. Also this coffee shop is hard to find if you don’t know where you’re going! It’s in the far back corner of an already hidden shopping center. It is closer to Custer Parkway than it is to Lookout Drive. Worth the trip, but I would suggest taking your caffeine to go!
Impressed with the hip vibe that Pearl Cup emits once you walk through the door. Both baristas were friendly and helpful when answering my first-timer questions. I ordered both a Grilled Cheese Panini and a Pearl Latte to go, but utilized one of the intimate corner tables for a bit before heading out.Made fresh, the panini took about 5-6 minutes before delivered to my seat. For $5, it’s fairly small, but the pesto & provolone together is tasty. Their Pearl Latte is like a mild vanilla latte. It’s something special, not too sweet and I’m up for another one soon. Was disappointed though, that they were out of Cold Brew. Just another reason to visit again soon! mybakingheart.com
Beautiful to the Eye But Not Functional. Pearl Cup has been on my wish list since spotting it during a Shady Burger visit. The heavy wood and iron picnic tables out front are very appealing. The look inside is continued. All of the seats are heavy wood and iron. While it looks good, it’s uncomfortable. I came with a book planning to spend a couple hours reading and enjoying the coffee. Sitting on the benches is like sitting on rocks. It’s not comfortable at all. I left after 15 minutes.
Good Pearl Latte. Great place to enjoy a good coffee and good company. I’m at Starbucks gold member free refil, many more benefits but to enjoy one Excellent Cafe Latte I recommend Pearl Cup, the atmosphere is extraordinary, this is a real cafeteria, style Via Veneto in Rome or the hundreds of cafes in Paris. Enjoy a cup of real coffee, a good book, a friend, take a moment to enjoy life …
