Food is hit or miss. I always order the shrimp embrochette. Usually good even though the shrimp itself is small compared to other places. Usually pretty good but last time very overlooked and had a funny taste. Was sick after

Razzo’s Is Just A Cool, Laid Back Place To Eat. I love this place! That is all.

This place is an armpit. If you want lousy service and can live with fried food that all tastes the same, this is your kind of place. Is that shrimp or a hushpuppy? Who cares, it’s going to the same place! Bland, mediocre, batter-fried material for the morbidly obese tattoo-sporting slice of society. Ugh.

Service was spotty, food was plentiful but not all that good. Definitely appreciating living in a city with non smoking restaurants after this visit!

A Hankerin’ for Fried. When we want Fried vegetables (green beans/okra/pickles), and fried fish, Crawfish, and oysters, with a side of something Cajun (red beans and rice, etc.) this is where we head to. The menu has other things too, but the fried stuff is what lures us. (fortunately, it doesn’t lure us often-or we’d have to buy bigger jeans) Its pretty close to the original in New Orleans for atmosphere and the kids love it. The staff is young, but always friendly, fast and efficient. A full selection of beers, including my fave’s Shiner & Abita. They have some pedestrian wines, but a cold beer is much more suited to their menu. I wont eat here in winter though, cause the tables are made of galvanized metal, and they get COLD!!! Mostly spring, summer, and fall joint. (Heck – thats 3/4 of the year) Not the best Cajun restaurant in Dallas, but definitely not the worst either. Parking is easy and its large enough to where you usually wont have to wait for a table. You’ll have a good meal here, and most likely leave with a smile on your face.
