The kebab’s here are good enough but of course being in India I get much better kebabs…. The butter chicken is amazingly good…the buffet is really amazing when tried as a whole… The lentil soup really is enjoyable… There is one sweet dish available just like kheer however it doesn’t taste any great…ambience is just fine here…. The Laban here also tastes different compared to the Laban in Saudi…. However it was like Chas and good enough
This is a cool kurdish place. Went for the buffet which was pretty crowded at 830 and food was fresh out of the kitchen. The food was just a little too fatty for my taste although the kebab and the gyro meat were delicious
As an American who lived in Tehran from 1974-1978, I truly missed my favorite dishes after we were forced out of the country during the revolution. I found Shish Kabobs over 19 years ago and my family and I have been going there ever since to enjoy the hospitality and Persian Cuisine that I remember from a very young age. I cannot say enough good things about this place and about the sweet Kurdish family who run the place. The waitresses know my family when we come in and always make us feel welcome and at home. I would HIGHLY recommend Shish Kabobs to anyone looking to experience the wonderful food and culture of that area. The Ghormet Sabzi and Chelo Kabob are my favorites and are a must try! No dinner is complete without a nice cup of hot tea with Cardamom so don’t forget that! I love Shish Kabobs!
Good Food & Variety. We enjoyed this middle eastern buffet. Had I not just discovered Sanabel’s Mediterranean Grill I would have been even more impressed, their noon buffet is even better but this place is still good. The flavors here are different more of an Afgan style, but different is good! The one negative review mentioned the chicken not being good, he admitted it was done on a catering grill, not a good example of their chicken, it’s great! Very juicy and full of flavor. All the items were good thou some could have been fresher. 3 different rice dishes reminiscent of Indian rice, really tasty. The service was good, friendly & efficient. Can’t beat the price and and the buffet runs all day. There’s just no need for chain restaurants in this area, these locally owned restaurants are far better and it’s REAL food, not frozen boxed stuff. Real cooks passionate about thier food and culture make this kind of place a real experience. P.S. Do yourself a favor and try Noodle Wave next door!
Delicious kabobs. I go there everytime I come to Dallas.
Tasty. Superb, all-day buffet. Reasonably priced and varied menu. My wife had barley soup and spicy chicken salad; she was effusive. Friendly, attentive staff & owner.
Good Iranian Cuisine: I enjoyed the three choices of Stews on offer, and the House Yogurt drink with Mint. There is more to Mediterranean Food than grilled meats, branch out, that’s just boring.
