Love the food the service was fast and the owner are warm. Definitely something to come more than once. Its a bit crowded (even during the weekdays) but worth to wait.
Cool atmosphere, okay food.. The atmosphere is great, very cool, great place for a date. The food, however, was lackluster. The sushi was lukewarm and not nicely rolled. In fact, when the plate arrived, some of the pieces had already begun unraveling, making it difficult to pick up. The rolls are reasonably priced, but the meat proportions are lacking.
Good sushi Awful lunch seat…. Good sushiAwful lunch seating policies!Totally Empty at opening…but you must wait for your complete party in order to be seated…party of 2 and they refuse to save a seat for my lunch guest!Snotty hostess!
The best sushi in Dallas. Soda and his fellow chefs prepare exquisite dishes every time. This is the best. Recommend highly.
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. The atmosphere was excellent, however the service was poor. I tried the volcano roll, which was made with miracle whip, it was HORRIBLE, I asked our waitress if she could bring me something instead the volcano roll or take it off my bill, she said no to either. I eat out often and I’ve never sent food back, but this was so bad, after the waitress said no to either my request, I asked to speak with the manager, who was even more unpleasant than our server. She said this isn’t a burger joint, and did not ask or do anything to rectify the roll. I wasn’t rude, luckily I paid with American Express and the charge was taken off via American Express at least they know about customer service maybe Sushi Sake should take a crash course on service and manners. I will never go there again.
Absolutely fantastic! Everything from the ambiance to waitstaff was delightfully authentic. Tonight was my first time, but it most certainly will not be my last.
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience. The restaurant was crowded at 6 pm on a Saturday night so we were seated at the sushi bar. I had a shrimp tempura dinner and my husband had teriaki chicken. We also had some sushi; a volcano roll and a spider roll. Everything was excellent from the cucumber salad and salad with ginger dressing, the miso soup and the sliced orange for dessert to the main dishes and sushi. It was fun watching the sushi chef prepare our sushi right in front of us. I had hot green tea to drink and my cup was never allowed to empty. The staff was friendly and attentive. I will return in the future.
