Horrible Service. I have used Tasty Eggroll for years, but I have noticed a serious decline in their food, quality and attitude. I will no longer use Tasty Eggroll until they clean up their act. Sometimes they misunderstand the order or credit card number and they get angry with me because I am told they can’t understand ME!. I have no idea what to do in that situation. I read my card to them. If they don’t get it right, they just fail to show up. They don’t even call to confirm the card number. The female employee there is especially rude. I am quite disappointed. . I will switch to the another delivery service. They are a dime a dozen in this area. Too bad for Tasty Eggroll. I am a $100 per week customer. Reid Megason……..look me up!
BEST for me. Hawaiian chicken, steam rice, egg drop soup. Nuff said. I don’t know ANY other restaurant that makes Hawaiian chicken like Tasty Egg Roll. They are very nice people.
My Next Installment. Tonight we tried the Mongolian Beef and the Mu Shu Chicken.Beef: great sauce and plentiful tender beef, but too many onions for our tastes (like a filler), less green onions and way more yellow onions. However, overall a great dish. When I order it again, I will ask for more green onions and less onions overall. Not greasy.The Mu Shu Chicken was really nice. The sauce could have been thicker but the flavor was there. Usually (at other places) there are mushrooms with the veggies. This dish had no mushrooms, just fyi. Overall, I will order it again. Actually, this review is for the Tasty Egg Roll in Richardson . . .I’ve ordered the Sweet & Sour Pork and the pork was very tough, but that may be just a slight negative. The batter was wonderful as was the sauce. I’ll try the S&S Chicken next time.I’ve had the Mu Shu Chicken – excellent and not greasy (could use a bit more spice, but I loved it).I’ve tried the Egg Drop and Hot & Sour Soups. By far the latter was better. The Egg Drop was way to heavy with grease/oil/? not sure what.The egg rolls are good, but could be a bit bigger; not much in them, but I love them anyway.My biggest complaint is that they do not offer Egg Fu Yung. I was told they feel it is outdated! If that is true, then why do ALL the other local competition off the dish??? I’d rethink that if I were them.Recently, the Singapore Curry Noodle (chicken) was excellent! I’ll update as I make my way through their menu. Enjoy.
Just Right. TER II is about a block away from my apartment and I am a frequent customer. The food is very good for how quickly it is prepared, and its always piping hot.Generally, I order the chicken lo mein, which is very flavorful and not overly greasy, just perfect. I have had most other dishes there, and although everything is very tasty, I feel like there should be a few more spicy options on the menu. My favorite thing about the food is that the pieces of meat that are used in the dishes always appears to be of high quality. No giblets, no mystery meats, no globs of animal fat. The chicken is white meat.The staff is very friendly, the portions are large and delivery is free.The crab rangoons are pretty darn good, also.
DELICIOUS and Surprisingly Cheap!. The food is absolutely delicious and a great value. The staff is also very friendly and the restaurant itself is homey and very clean. The value of their lunch specials (any entree + an eggroll for just $5.99, I think!) cannot be beat. I come here whenever I’m in the mood for some Chinese take-out.
Wow. That was almost edible.. Actually, we did eat our order because we were famished.Without going into great detail, Tasty ER is a clean friendly shop with really awful food. Please TER, hire a COOK.
Disappointed. My wife and I thought we might have found a nice little Asian restuarant, in our neighborhood, but not the case.After reading the first review, I was leery of going here, but we gave it a shot. I agree with the first review. The food was greasy and very bland. I have had better eggrolls from the supermarket frozen section. The chili paste and the hot mustard were not good at all. Beware of any asian place that hands out hot mustard packets instead of fresh prepared…It was a big let down..I was so hoping to find a convient chinese restaurant…..
