Spam or Just Dump. One Sunday afternoon we stopped in for food and drinks. Cute Blonde Bartendar for very friendly. When we asked to tap out she asked us if we were paying for 2 tables around us.We said No just what we ordered just ours. Couple next to us order Chicken Fried Steak and had 2 beers. They were friends of ours said buy when they left. Told us bill seemed high but said oh well. Bartendar brought our ticket over I looked at it it was couples ticket who just paid and left. I said this isn’t ours. She said well your amount is $28.60. I said can I see a ticket. It’s lost and I don’t know how to print it out again…was her reply. she added i could wait for the manager to return. At this time I’m thinking what is she trying to pull. I said well bring me a menu and I will add it all up myself. She left and came back with our correct tab out of their computer but then asked if we were paying for table next to us? We said NO just ours. We paid and got out of there. Very strange wasn’t sure if she really just didn’t know or if she was trying to spam money for wk. I will not go back their again.
Quick Visit. Weeknight visit. Good neighborhood bar– I was in town on business in the area again . I’d been by a few times over the years. Looks like a remodel/cleaning has taken place. Good food. Pleseant staff. Smoking establishment– their smoke eaters were working as I didnt go back to the hotel and have to stuff my clothes in a bag to pack them !I wandered upstairs. There’s another full bar and what looked like a kareoke stage upstairs.

Old style PUB with tons of character. Best burgers and chicken fried steak around. New sound system and games-Golden Tee, Bowling, Pool, and Foosball. Very friendly staff. Go once and you will return. Great spot. Easy to get to.05 Feb, 2012Fantastic food! Very clean. Friendly, attentive staff. Unbelievable meeting room and game room. Historical 100, plus year old building.
Completely renovated and clean! New menu too! I was very surprised at all the changes when I came back in after they reopened! So glad they are back!
The neighborhood bar we all loved with a face lift. The place has been opened up and cleaned from head to toe! With all new tv’s and three times as many smoke eaters, this old school place is ready to please! A new chef and a great menu rounds out the great service everyone was accustom to.
