Great Tasting Food!. Was really busy for a Thursday night but we did not have to wait long for a table. Unfortunately, we did have to awhile for our food (25 minutes for our appetizer). However, the servers were very friendly and the steak was very, very good! The whipped potatoes could not have been better. The onion rings were just the right size. The whole meal was about $100.00 including tip but it is nice for a special occasion.
Almost listened to last reviews but went anyway. Go, you will be glad!. Service was very attentive. The owner is walking around constantly to make sure everyone is enjoying their experience. I did just have a brown ale beer, soup and small salad but was really happy with all of them. I had the jalapeo and sweet potato soup and it was really good! House salad was good also but truly our best part was the very involved owner, who even had an, on the house, after dinner drink, brought over for my friend and I, who do not see each other often and can just chat forever when we do. Texas was a VERY GOOD choice for our girls dinner out!!
Go someplace else. We were looking for something new to try, Texas looks very nice on the outside, very nice on the inside. We were greeted when we entered and sat down immediately. After that the service was very poor. My steak was burnt on the outside and very much over priced for the quality of service and quality of food. We won’t be back and would never recomend the place to anyone.
Don’t waste your time. Terrible service and overpriced food. Ordered at 7pm received food at 8:45 pm. Worst dinning experience of my life.
Crappy management. Overpriced food. Wouldn’t go there if someone paid me to. Take my advice, it’s not worth it.
Not to Bad price to High for quality. Bread’s good. No salt or pepper to add flavor to the food.I got the chicken, they left the fatty skin on it and topped the skin with the cheese and flavor. The burnt corn was good. The spinach needed seasoning. for the price you would expect to get a salad with your dinner, nope. Oh well brought it all home so I could season it and eat it tomorrow. Gave my dog the skin 🙂
Ruined evening. My grandfather once told me that a businesses greatest asset was advertising by customer word-of-mouth. If it’s positive it’s free and the best kind of advertisement.Last Saturday night, November 10th, my friend and I were treated very negatively by the owner of this establishment and our whole evening was ruined. We came to support the entertainer that was there that night. Mr. Owner, it’s not suppose to be your customers worry about your overhead and expenses. It IS suppose to be your aim that your customer has a pleasant dining experience. Mr. Owner when I called about 3 weeks ago to make reservations the only thing we discussed was dress code and you said that it was casual. Nothing was said about a requirement of purchasing an entree. We were expecting to be charged a cover charge in addition to our food bill as to that is how it is usually handled at other establishments we’ve been to. While your offering of the ice cream sundae, later, was appreciated, it did not/could not undo the damage of the evening.I do applaud your wait staff. They took very good care of us.
