Good grilled cheese and soup. I had the grilled Mac+chee and the creamy tomato basil soup. The sandwich was delicious. The soup was okay and chunkier than I expected for a creamy soup. I rate all tomato basil soups on a comparison to La Madeleine’s tomato basil. It was not as good as La Madeleine’s but I don’t know that I have had any that are. It was close. My husband had the crunchy garlic chicken and creamy mushroom soup. He said it was delicious.
It was really a mediocre grilled cheese. The tomato basil dipper was surprisingly good though. The staff here is very young and if you’re looking for a place with quality service this might not be the best place to try. Overall it was just ok.
Was excited to try this little new place in the City Line. Walked in to a very loud and busy atmosphere. Ordered our grilled cheese and soup at 1:04pm. Grilled cheese came at 1:59pm. There goes my entire lunch break. 2:10pm soup finally came. We were already done with our sandwiches by then. The food was great. Everything else – awful.
