Sucked. My silverware was dirty, the food wasn’t anything special, the service sucked & it’s pricey for what you get..never again will I return..it ruined my night. I didn’t have an account for this but I made one just so I could say how much this place sucks.
Not that Good or just less than Average. The hot sauce is trash and their enchiladas are just average.Taco bell might be a little above them.
It’s… OK.. I can’t write a glowing review of El Chico, but it’s close to my house, and they have a good special on fajitas on Tuesday nights. The cheese sauce they put on the table with the chips is watery and unexciting, but it’s better than the cheese sauce most places put on the tables for free (which is, of course, NONE). The service has usually been very good, with a couple of exceptions that have happened over the years I have been going, and those were not that bad. As many times as I have been, I would say they have an excellent track record, and are very helpful and friendly, and fix mistakes quickly.I have never had stale chips there. I like the salsa. Most of the other things I have had have been just standard, mediocre tex-mex, with no special redeeming qualities. The prices are just average. I never feel like I got a really great deal, except on fajita nights, and I never feel like I got ripped off.I don’t really like how a lot of the tables have a low wall, with a window above it. I often seem to end up with somebody’s brat at the next table pounding on the glass, or pushing their face up on it, or just staring (and believe me, I am really not that interesting to look at), and of course the parents seem oblivious and let it go on for the whole meal. I am always tempted to teach the kid a few lewd gestures while I wait for my food… I wish they would put a higher wall up, or some blinds or curtains or something.
Eat somewhere somewhere else! Chips were stale and my taco tasted like a slim Jim. Very disappointing
Try Abuelos down the road. This place is about as bad as it gets.
I love the El Chico in Richland Hills. This restaurant is one of the best places around to eat!! The food is great, the service is wonderful, and the managers make sure that EVERYTHING is running smoothly. Very nice to go to a place where you know that you will enjoy your meal!! Two Thumbs up!!!
OMG!!!!!. El chico is delicious i love it they have great food and a wonderful staff the managers are always ready to help and visit and the servers are always polite and friendly!!!
