Not bad…. …not really all that good either. Like a 2.7 on a 5 point scale. I went with a 3 meat platter of sliced brisket, ribs, and sausage. The latter is definitely the highlight and has a fantastic taste. The ribs were a little tough, but the flavor was good, and I warmed up to them as I munched through them. The brisket was disappointing, crumbly, a bit tough and lacking in smoked flavor. It definitely needed the barbecue sauce (never a good sign) – of which they only have one kind. It’s a heated (temperature) sauce, with a mild kick. For sides I chose the mac and cheese and pinto beans. The beans were average and the m&c was very cheesey – not in a good way – like a box recipe.The pit master was nowhere to be found. Just a couple of nice Hispanic ladies doing their best to keep the place open. I’m not so sure the restaurant has that much of a shelf life. regularjoesguide.blogspot.com
Not a fan. I have been to three different restaurants at that location, and they are all the same. The barbecue is always greasy, they rarely actually got my order correct (drive thru), and It’s always overpriced. Take my advice and go to Black Diamond Smokehouse on Rufe Snow instead.
Awesome food and the wait staff are absolutely gorgeous
