Fried combination of Catfish, Crabcake and Shrimp. The food was fresh and the batter was light and crispy and the meal was delicious and the staff was very friendly.
GREAT RESTAURANT. I brought a group of 30 before a theater show last Saturday. The service was wonderful, the food above par and the prices amazing. Everyone enjoyed their meals and we got to the theatre in plenty of time. I am going to recommend this restaurant to all my friends. The portions were huge! Thanks to Kane and his courteous and efficient staff for a great experience.
Fresh Fish!!. I dont know what all these people are talking about. Although the restaurant has little character, the fish and shrimp are extremely fresh. Pappadeaux can fool you with their fancy big restaurant name, but their food is definitely frozen and very commercial. Baytown Seafood is all about the catfish and the shrimp. It is catfish that is done the old fashioned way, and the shrimp are large and juicy. Maybe the reviewer had a bad experience… but do not order a steak at a seafood place. Fish Fish FIsh… it is fresh. We’ve been join there for 4 years now.
This place is the worst ever! The management is very unprofessional !!!! I waited 20 minutes for some lemon, I asked for a refill and the guy waiter brings me a cup of pepsi with no ice and pours it in my cup!! Seriously !!! Then I talk to the manager and he says he will have someone else wait on us and never does! When we went to pay I thanked the manager for never sending another waiter and all he said was don’t leave a tip! Of course I’m not going to leave a tip you idiot! Thanks for ruining my mothers day lunch and I will let everyone I know how bad the food and service is!!
Don’t let the other reviews fool you. The fried food was soggy, the grilled food was pan-fried, all was flavorless. The hush puppies were exactly what you’d expect from Sam’s Club or Restaurant Depot. Nothing was fresh or even close to approaching the quality of Pappadeaux’s. I’ve had better seafood from Long John Silver’s. At least they know how to work a deep fryer.
Great Food lacking atmosphere. The food is fantastic. This food is as good as pappadeaux but, less than half the price. The atmosphere could be improved to make this an incredible dining experience.
