Okay, if you want some good, heart-hostile fried food, this is your place! Seriously, their claim to fame is family servings of fried chicken, mashed potatoes, creamed corn, biscuits, etc. Come hungryprobably better eat a light breakfast and no lunch because you will have A LOT TO EAT. This place is VERY BUSY.

Not sure what all the hype is about..I mean the chicken was nicely cooked but was SO lacking in flavor..salt and pepper would go SO far with this..very juicy..just needed seasoning..Sides were average…wasn’t what I expected especially having to stand outside to wait to eat…
Waiting in the heat wasn’t that great but the water mist fans did help some. Well worth the wait, a very simple menu, you have the choice of chicken or fried steak and sides are unlimited ( mash potatoes, corn, biscuits and salad). Great souther taste and feel to the whole place, service was great constant refills and fresh sides. Would recommend to anyone in the area or visiting fort Worth.
We love Babe’s but Roanoke is the worse location. Only 2 choices of meat and both loaded in grease. Only 2 vegetables, corn and mashed potatoes. The other Babe’s locations have more choices and much better food, not as greasy. Surprised this location, the original, is still open and busy.
Simply the best. BYOB. Served Family-style. All you can eat, so bring an appetite. And yes you’ll most likely have to wait for a table. Get over it! So worth it!!! #nomnom
