We finally tried Jack & Grill, and now we’ve been several times. We LOVE the tots!! My daughter loves the salmon sliders. The burgers were okay, but the fried egg was way overcooked on the Barnyard Burger. Bacon – wrapped jalapenos are good, but they should lose the letuce. Queso is real good, and so are the onion strings. Blackened chicken Alfredo is pretty good, but it would be GREAT if it came with some kind of bread. I thought the pepperoni sandwich was awful. It needs to be on a different bread…one of the worst things I’ve had at a restaurant. Mac and cheese was not good either. The watermelon margs are delish! They have a huge variety of beers, but I’m not sure they have any domestics. Service is usually very good, but our waitress on Friday, 9/11, was pretty awful.
Something For Everybody. Food, Craft Beer, Sports and fun is what my family experienced on our second trip to Jacks Grill. Loved our food selections, Jalapeno Burger for me, Pizza for my youngest and wings for my older son…DELICIOUS! They put something on the Italian Pizza that was awesome. I stole two smoked wings from my son. The Alaskan White craft beer was too good for just one. TV’s had sports and we all wanted to watch something different and they accomodated us. They have this thing called Audio Air that allowed us to listen to the TV’s too, wow. I would advise the wait staff to warn of the spicy wings, a little too much for my son, he had Cajun Flavor which were great with the smoked flavor, but hot. We will be there especially on game days when we can all listen and follow different sporting events. KEEPER.
Now A Must Stop For Me. Been back several times since I first visited for lunch when the restaurant was too busy for the number of servers. I made comment of that to I believe Vicki and all has been good since. The food was really good then, better now. They have added 12 or so craft beers and I can get in and out for lunch well within the time I have for lunch. Tried an entree, the cedar plank salmon with ‘smoked’ mac n cheese which is to die for. A fun, family friendly place. Thanks for coming to Oak Street…28 Feb, 2013Good Food Good Service…QUICKLY. Tried this new place for lunch today. It was quite busy and there were only two servers. In spite of that they were fast and efficient, I only have 45 minutes for lunch. The Italian Pizza was fantastic, the toppings were piled high, fresh and full of flavor. I could not finish it, took a piece back to the office. I noticed a lot of craft beers which I will return to try. Great place to watch sports, I believe I counted 10 TV’s; great for March Madness. They could have used another server although I had great service; I wish I knew her name.
Great food, great atmosphere, friendly wait staff, yet slow. We’ve been here twice and had to ask 2-3 times for more drinks or condiments.
Food overpriced if you have a iron stomach get the jack you up wings. Waitstaff should warn you they are made ghost peppers. Beer is no where close to cold. Very disappointed. Probably first and last visit.
Went on a Friday and no wait. Food was good the wings are reeeeaal good. Beer selection one of the best around. Will definitely be back.
