GREAT!!!!!!!. Have not been to the Classic Caf/ The Classic at Roanoke for over a year, the food is still something to look forward to and the service is SUPER. They have trimmed down the portion size for the same price, I am sure that todays food cost has a lot to do with is step. The Classic is one of the best if not the best places to eat north of Fort Worth. Im also glad to see the Francis THE ROCK is still there.
My wife and I have been Classic customers for many years starting around 2002 and also when they had a spot in Sourhlake for a time. We always have had excellent food and service, and we will be back again soon. We last ate there on Feb 15th for Valentines and had a nice time. The 4 course dinner was perfect, and they had added some new wine selections at more moderate prices so it made it easy to order a bottle. We will be back soon.
I have eaten lunch here several times and it has been excellent. A few nights ago my wife and I celebrated our 45th Wedding Anniversary here for dinner. We were treated very well and our steak dinner was outstanding. As we were about to leave the waitress brought us a special treat; a plate of vanilla bean ice cream topped with black berries – with words Happy Anniversary written in chocolate. Highly recommend this eloquent dining place.
Really nice place! We had bacon wrapped beef tenderloin with chef’s homemade worteshire sauce. And try the wild organic mushrooms they were excellent!
We tried this place for the first time. We were very pleasantly surprised how exceptional the food was. Great steaks! This chef cooks steaks up perfectly. Sides were fresh from their garden. Great experience, we’ll definately be back!
Food great, but these reviews?? seriously??. People, base your reviews on the food, not whether or not you think they were racist. There probably was a good explanation, but to assume it was because of you is just stupid. And I have seen many restaurants be homey and pricey. I enjoyed the experience when I went for my 25th anniversary. We are new to Texas and found them to be very welcoming. I didn’t care for my crabcakes but it is simply because I found them spicy which I can not do. But, I never saw any of the issues one reviewer claimed.
Very disappointing. We reserved a table at Classic Cafe to celebrate our 18th wedding anniversary. Upon seeing our multiracial family enter, the hostess immediately stated that, despite our reservation, we would need to wait 15-20 minutes. She did not offer either an apology or an explanation. After waiting more than 20 minutes – during which time there was again no apology or explanation for the delay – and watching several parties get seated before us we left. We will not be returning after being treated so poorly.
