HORRIBLE!!!. We used to eat here often a little more than a year ago and loved it. When the new Mexican restaurant moved in on 30 we started going there more often. We went back here today expecting the same and it was beyond horrible. The chips were greasy and very much like store-bought chips, the salsa was tasteless. These were some of the worst enchiladas we have ever had. The cheese was very solid and stringy…. I thought I might choke on the cheese if I took too big of a bite. The meat was pretty bland and the shells were cold and just a little better than store-bought. The queso was very much like Rico’s nacho cheese with flavoring. We had very high hopes of going back and having something delicious, but we were very disappointed. We will never go back. 🙁

Great service, great food, so so atmosphere. My wife, young children, and I ate here recently. We really enjoyed the food and the service was outstanding. The prices were good too. The atmosphere was just ok, very loud and a little cramped. I still liked it though.

Arboledas was our favorite Mexican restaurant in Rockwall county. We went there at least once or twice per week. We’ve even had family gatherings there. However, on a recent visit, they started pushing a catering menu advertized by a loud, obnoxious, fast talking waiter. We were a captive audience and we heard his litany over and over. It made our dinner experience so unpleasant we left before finishing. On this last visit, we also noticed that the volume of customers was down–not surprizing. I mentionned the problem to the manager and she apologized. We may give it another try because the food is so good, but if they continue the fast talking water pushing the catering menu, we will not be back.
