The bride and I are dating again with our fist visit to Chiloso and we are blown away! A line out the door is either an inconvenience or a sign that you’re about to eat good! One word of advice, dessert, the grilled vanilla cake is WOW, enjoy!
Nasty. Had a burito and must say that it may have been the worst one ever. It was served iced cold and lacked any real imagination. Not at all worth the timr or effort.
My wife and I went in for lunch today. The line to order was very long. The bar bacon taco I received literally had to be peeled from the paper container. The tortilla was so doughy, I could not eat it. My wife had nachos which she says were just okay. I ate the meat from my taco and then started on the chips and salsa. The chips were so undercooked, I could literally make a soft taco out of them. I never saw anyone that looked like a manager to let them know of these issues. Every single employee had to be 18 or younger. Their patio area really needs a power washing. I’ve been out of the food service business a long time, but I remember that I never would have gotten away with having a patio area as filthy looking as this place. Chiloso, I know you won’t miss our business. It looks like you stay busy enough with folks that don’t mind the quality, or lack thereof, of your food.
Family went for lunch! Food was good! Service was ok. Un organized and poor communication on like if u get drinks, will bring the rest of ur food, and taking orders. Overall would go back but not a top place!
I’ve been to Chiloso’s several times, & it has never disappointed me. I’ve had the nachos, burritos, etc. I’ve always had really good chicken and rice and even their avocado/guacamole is delicious. And since I’ve been raised with traditional Mexican food I’m not that easy to impress. Chipotle is also good but I generally prefer Chiloso’s because I feel like it’s better quality. They could have better seating and less loud music but I could say the same thing about the Chipotle in Mesquite. At least Chiloso’s offers to help out the community! Overall, if it’s a date night and you want a nicer version of Chipotle, go with Chiloso’s.
Delicious!!!!! Grilled avocado topped with barbacoa and tortilla soup was great. Also tried a rolled quesadilla that’s not on the menu. Called the OMG. Recommended by a frequent customer we talked to in line. Highly recommend this place. I like their hottest salsa too. There is a line, put it only took use five minutes to get through it. Definitely making this a regular stop on our trips!!!
