I had tamales and pupusa. The tamales were wrapped in plantain leaves. I’ve only had them wrapped in corn so I enjoyed this new flavor. Pupusa was also new to me. Bland, but good. Of course you could dip it in salsa. This was served with rice and beans, both very good. Service was fine. The place was clean and comfortable.
Wonderful place! Hubs & I took our date night early this week and decided to hit up Gloria’s on the harbor. Friendly, non-intrusive staff along with crazy yummy food and a fantastic view made for a very delightful dinner. If you go, try the Honey Bananas (fried plantains, scoop of ice cream, rum sauce, & lit on fire) for dessert! It’s fabulous!
