Will eat some place else when staying at the Hilton.11 Apr, 2011Enjoyable. The food was really good, beyond what I had expected and I highly recommend the veal scallopini. Nice atmosphere, service a bit slow the night we dined but a prom and a wedding were going on. Friendly and attentive staff and a lovely patio area with a view out over Lake Ray Hubbard. I’ll definetly visit this place again.UPDATE- 5/8/11Ate at the C&B scene as the restaurants dining area is closed on Sunday’s. The food however was still Mistra and very enjoyable. I had the chicken cacciatore, the chicken breast was a tad bit dry, not overly so, and the skin was nice and crispy. The asiago potatoes and asparagus were both cooked perfectly. Since the dining area was closed our bartender Tracy waited on us and I can’t say enough good things about how well she took care of us.
Even though the price is high, the breakfast is great, especially the ciliquilles.
News Year Menu. My husband and I went there for dinner tonight, we were told it was only a New Year’s Menu so we decided to eat anyway. The salad was good, the Rib-eye was awful for what you paid for the dinner was way over priced. Only 4 pieces of asparagus and the dessert was good. For $45.00 per person we were ripped off. Should have picked Chamberlain’s. You get so much more there. Between management and waiter we were never left alone. Not such a good choice to have dinner. Save your $$$$$ and don’t waist your money and time.
Mistra is a destination place. Excellent lunch – salmon with artichokes and a marvelous Caesar salad. Great service and ambiance. I highly recommend it.
Should you consider lunch at Mistra’s?. Yes you should!!! They have changed their menu and I love love love their lunch menu. I’m really a sandwich, salad soup kinda person. The half sandwich and soup was wonderful. This is a perfect place if you want to have a biz lunch. It is intimate and a place you can actually hear each other without distractions.
Amazing Experience!. This is the most beautiful restaurant I have seen in years. The food was absolutely amazing and the service was even better. They treated us like family and made sure that we would remember our anniversary for years to come. If you go I would definately stop by the bar C&B Scene for a couple after dinner drinks, they have great bartenders as well. Cant wait to go back!
