One of my favorite places to eat. It would be nice if a creative hibachi chef would create a new routine. The onion volcano and cho cho and the beating heart of rice are getting stale. : ).
Kobe steak? I think not!. Kobe steak house? Me thinks not! My bride and I went there and I wanted to try a Kobe steak. I ordered a Kobe filet mignon and my wife ordered the same cut but non-Kobe. We shared bites of each others steaks and we agreed that they were the same in texture, tenderness and flavor. The Kobe steak was two and a half times as much as the non- Kobe steak. Oh, I almost forgot! Two pieces of the very expensive alleged Kobe steak were full of gristle and I couldn’t eat them! I will never go back to this restaurant again!

Best in Dallas!. The Sushi bar at Kyoto’s is the best my husband and I have had in Dallas, and we are definitely Sushi connoisseurs! The Rockwall location is our ‘home’ bar and well worth the drive if you aren’t local to the area. The chef’s are Japanese and wonderfully creative. The staff is always attentive and polite, and greet us with a warm welcome at every visit. Prices are typical for sushi, and the fish is ALWAYS fresh and delicious. Highly recommended!
Very good sushi. Always fresh everytime I have been. I go atleast once a month. Rowlett location is my favorite out of the two. It is just more laid back and peaceful. Go once and you will be back. One other note that I like to see is the owner always walks around talking to his customers.
Good food, but VERY expensive. $100 (including tip) for family of 4.
Pretty good food, but waaaay overpriced. I guess you are paying for the experience.
