My friend and I have been frequenting this particular Logan’s for somewhere in the neighborhood of 6 years now. It’s one of our favorites and go tos for dinner. Sometimes we mix it up and go to other places for steak like Texas Roadhouse or Texas Land and Cattle, but for the most part it’s Logan’s. They’re steaks are consistently good, they generally come out how we ask them cooked (rare for me, well for my friend), and their sides are always phenomenal. We suggest the broccoli. Best I’ve ever had, honestly; full of flavor. Most of the time the staff is good, and pretty much always friendly. There is rarely a wait to get in, and the food comes out rather quickly. Mind you, there have been occasions where it’s been slow or a newer server has botched something, no one is perfect and it will happen everywhere at some point, but overall this place is fantastic. The Saltgrass next door is double the price, but their steaks are not doubly better. We generally eat for under $50 including a very good tip, so it’s not too pricey.
Not Bad. I had the Ribeye steak and ribs, with a baked potatoe and skewer veggies, the steak was very good, pleanty of flavor and tender, I will never give any TX place a good review on ribs so I will say what I always say the ribs were not bad and not good, however I did eat them so that’s a plus. The skewer veggies were very very very good. I would go back for a steak and those skewer veggies
The peanuts were the best part. We decided to go out to dinner this weekend and for our second night we picked Logans. We get seated the waiter takes our order (I ordered a grilled chicken salad and my hubby ordered the salmon). We get our food and it was…bland at best. The chicken was pretty good but my hubby’s salmon was under cooked and the food in general was just blah….nothing to write home about and certainly not worth the money considering we went to salt grass the night before and it was AWESOME and around the same price. My advice? go next door to salt grass where the service and food are 10x better.
Terrible food!. I gave it a try. I have to say that I have had a better meal from an industrial catering truck. Don’t waste your time or money!!
Not a fan of this chain. I’ve tried several locations and several dishes, never had anything that impressed me enough to remember what I ordered, and never had great service. Its ok, but there are a lot better places to eat.
All I can say is YUM! When I walk into this place my mouth waters, it is so good
Mouth watering. I enjoy going to Logan’s when i am in the Rocwall area the staff is professional and nice, my waiter that i get all the time is great he keeps the table well maintained with freah drinks and those warm delightful butter rolls a place i would ref to my out of state friends when they come to town … keep up the good work
