Frustrated after reading such good reviews. We ordered two salads and a medium Pizza Margherita (which is the true test of a basic good pizza). I ordered the pizza well done. The salads were OK. Nothing special, but fine.The pizza was a total disappointment. The crust was standard bulk purchased, not cold-risen and pressed using a machine. Pretty much cardboard (if it was cooked enough). The base cheese was the stuff you get at a middle school cafeteria spotted with a couple dabs of real mozzarella which was not good quality. No sauce. A few slices of Roma tomatoes and chopped fresh basil which was the best part. Pulling back the hot asphalt-like cheese, the crust was soggy and uncooked. I don’t like eating raw dough which is what we got. Awful, disappointing and not even close to being anything close to good.Anyone know where I can get a pizza made fresh and not bought in bulk from Sysco?
My favorites so far…. My wife and I are eating at Pizza Cucina more and more. One thing we look for when eating out is fresh ingredients. Pizza Cucina only uses the best. I really enjoy the BBQ Chicken pizza and the roasted garlic that they use on that pizza is out of this world. My wife likes the Pizza Marguerite (may have spelled that wrong). We have recently tried the Ella salad, and I have never had a better salad eating out. The dressing is light, tasty and healthy for you when compared to other types of dressing. It is an awesome house vinaigrette. I actually like dipping my crust in it as well.WIth regards to some of the negative reviews listed here, don’t be fooled. I help local biz’s with their online marketing and I’ve come to recognize a fake review when I see it. Pizza Cucina has awesome food, fresh ingredients and a friendly staff. Are they perfect 100% of the time? Of course not. We got an incorrect delivery one time and Oya immediately replaced it with the correct one once we let her know. That’s the kind of place I like to do business with.I plan on trying a sandwhich real soon and I’ll come back with a review of it once I’ve done so. Thanks Pizza Cucina for your great food for the Rockwall area and beyond!
Fair.. Not the best pizza joint out there. Pizza’s are greasy and sandwiches are very dry.
Food was way to overpriced. Didn’t taste good. I will never order from there again. Pizzas wasn’t favorable at all. Sandwiches was very dry. Some parts were not cooked. Worst experience ever!!
Mamma Mia!. If you never had a Muffuletta sandwich in your life, this is the place to start your first experience. It’s off the charts! Absolutely the BEST! Then the gourmet shrimp pesto pizza…OMG…love at first bite. That Italian sausage tastes so good too… Love the home made salad dressings and the freshly made dough each day. Thanks for the great culinary experience guys. I’m hooked…and highly recommend it to all Rockwallinas and beyond.
Very Very GOOD!!!. Tried there spinach sandwich and I can honestly say one of the best I ever had. Thank you for a good experience and will definitely eat there again.
Delicious. Excellent Italian food! The pizza’s are outstanding and the cheese is the absolute best part of it .. yum! Baked to perfection! If you haven’t tried Pizza Cucina you are missing out! Try it today!
