Great place…great service, food & atmosphere. But not in Royce City, it’s in Rockwall, almost Rowlett, on Hwy 66 before LRH
Everything we had was dry and stale. We both had the pot roast special and chocolate pie. Practically no meat and what was there was tough and dry. Pie tasted like frozen from the grocery store.
Not very tasty. Place felt dirty and run down. Won’t be going back! They seem to have a loyal breakast group….all older people
Not as good as it was in 2009. Kids meals are smaller and staff not as friendly. Can be slow.
Good place to eat with classic american food…a must try at least once
Cops eat there – ’nuff said. But it’s in Rockwall, right across the street from the police department, not Royce City. Great home cooking, breakfast is particularly satisfying. Less than half a mile from the boat launch at ’66 and the lake. Stops for fuel & ice in between. Historic downtown is less than a block away .
