I can’t belive I have not done a review about this place yet. They have the best hashbrowns!I recommend the Hill Country, it’s served only on the weekends. It’s two eggs, two sausage, hashbrowns, biscuits w/gravy. The gravy is VEGETARIAN friendly and it’s the best gravy I’ve ever had. The staff is friendly and they are fast at getting your food to you.EXPECT A 15-25 MINUTE WAIT ON THE WEEKENDS. They usually have a wait. The bar is not open seating on the weekends, you have to add your name to the list.A few months ago, I decided to be Vegan! I was happy to discover Cafe Java can meet my Vegan diet, as well. I usually order a side of avocado, a few corn tortillas, refried beans (hold the cheese) and hashbrowns. I just make sure to mention I am Vegan, and they are sure I am not accidentally served something not.*They except debit cards*for every 10 stamps of coffee, you get 1 free.
I went here for breakfast on a Tuesday morning and it was so busy there was a wait. I got pancakes and bacon with orange juice. I liked it all well enough, not amazing but good. Our waitress kind of aggravated me in the beginning, but it got better later. It was just unfortunate that it was so busy because I went here with a friend to catch up, but there were so many people waiting, it felt awkward to sit there talking after the waitress had already come through and cleared our plates away. But all in all, it’s a nice spot for breakfast.
