We were visiting from NYC and in search of epic Texas queso – and Chuy’s definitely has it. This Chuy’s is located next to an awesome area of a bunch of food carts. Both quesos were awesome, and the free salsa & chips were delicious. I got their daily special – the wild burrito, which was HUGE! Great place if you’re very hungry and looking for tons of Tex Mex!!
Not a bad Tex-Mex food joint, I had the Baja Tacos and they were cook very well. The atmosphere of the place jumps out at you and a bit hectic (not necessarily a bad thing). I also enjoyed the option to serve yourself chips and salsa while you waited to be seated.
I am not a fan of their queso but the jalapeo ranch makes up for it. My four-year-old will drink it and the waiter took me literally when I told him to bring it in a cup with a straw. That was comical. I love their big is your face burrito with the boom boom sauce. I just wish it was spicier. It’s supposed to be one of their spiciest. My husband loves when they have the green chili specials. wheelchairmommy.com
The Green Chili Stew. It was a chicken and green chili stew. It unfortunately was not on the green chili festival menu this year, very disappointing
Worst Mexican food that I have ever had. Salsa was horrible and the green chili rice was cold and over cooked. Definitely will not be returning.
This is one of the chain locations, you may as well be in Vegas. And the Round Rook clientele overcrowd it bid time. If you want a glimpse of real Chuy’s, go to the Lamar location.
Worth it. Chuys is worth the visit. Satisfied with many of the dishes
