Went looking for a place to eat around Round rock and stumbled upon this little joint. Walked in, ordered and loved the food. Ended up ordering an extra meal because the food was that good. Crisp in chicken and those yeast rolls are too good. The mashed potatoes were yum and so was the coleslaw and French fries. We are definitely going back to try their fish as well. If in round rock Texas, a must place to eat.
Always good. I’ve been eating at Golden Chick RR since high school (over 20 years…) and it is always yummy! I love the chicken tenders and fries, but I miss the biscuits they used to serve – the yeast rolls are no where near as good. Greg and his crew are always kind, helpful and get my order right. The free soft serve when you dine in is a favorite for my kids.

We’ve been getting drive-through here once or twice a month for many years, and the service/food quality has been consistently great. Although we occasionally try others, Golden Chick is our go to for the crispiest, tastiest chicken and sides.
Worst experience ever. Order was wrong. Manager on duty gave me attitude and never once apOlogized for their mistake. My poppers were still frozen in the middle and they screwed up the rest of my order as well. I asked for my money back and he seemed pissed at me. Told him I got better service at popeyes and he said that he could care less. Really! This was my first and last time ever!!!
